What we need:

As a member of our team you will be required to develop a working knowledge of sleep apnea and positive airway pressure therapy and show evidence of provision of exceptional organizational skills and customer service. In this role, the successful candidate will support the efficient function of the clinic through Clinician administrative support (which includes correspondence with the Assistive Devices Program), coordination of events, and conduct general follow up of patient compliance. Maintaining clinic workflow and inventory of clinic supplies are key aspects of the clinic.  Ongoing monitoring of the e commerce site is essential with ongoing vendor communication to update and enhance as needed.  Receive and process client phone/on-line orders, inquiries, and/or issues covering items ordered. Establish a caring relationship with clients, and demonstrate trust, respect, and honesty, and escalate and refer care to Clinician as required. Expedite access to services and resources to improve continuity and coordination of care with physician group.  You possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work independently as well as within a team and be flexible in meeting the needs of the clinic. You will also be responsible for sleep study coordination duties.

What you bring to the role:

  • Previous experience in managing sales and provision of customer service essential
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • Experience with e-commerce and processing of online orders preferred
  • Working knowledge of sleep apnea and positive airway pressure therapy and equipment an asset
  • Current BCLS certification or willing to work towards
  • 5+ years of customer service in sales setting essential
  • Working knowledge of computer technology
  • Demonstrated commitment to a patient/family centred care environment
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interprofessional team as well as independently
  • Well-developed organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated good attendance record with the ability to maintain this same standard
  • Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required.

The successful candidate will be required to work day shifts.
