Job Summary:

As a Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans that effectively promote our mission, programs, and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to promote the organization’s mission and objectives.
- Create and manage engaging content for social media platforms, website, and newsletters to enhance audience engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and create effective messaging for various programs and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze communication trends and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Assist in organizing events, workshops, and other promotional activities to increase visibility and community involvement.
- Support media relations efforts by drafting press releases, building media lists, and facilitating interviews.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in communications or marketing, preferably in a nonprofit or related environment.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools, as well as content management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
