Production Assistant - No Experience Required
Interested in starting your career withing pharmaceutical manufacturing? We are looking for a Production Assistant to help with all day-to-day tasks of preparation, manufacture, and inspection of compounding medicine. This role requires no previous pharmaceutical experience but a background in healthcare, retail or hospitality would be great!
We provide support for all aspects of cleanroom production, including aseptic compounding, equipment utilization, inventory control, environmental monitoring, and non-conformance resolution, to ensure compliance with the Manufacturing Licence and Quality System requirements.
The role will be working between Sunday and Friday 10pm-6am. However first 2 months you will be required to work between 7am-3pm and 10am-6pm for training purposes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform visual inspection and labelling of the finished products
Select, prepare, and sanitize raw materials.
Prepare isolators for sanitisation
Clean and maintain all areas
Perform equipment checks
Qualifications and Experience
Required: English minimum equivalent to RQF Grade 2, EQF Grade 3 or SCQF Grade 5
Preferred: Science subject minimum equivalent to RQF Grade 2, EQF Grade 3 or SCQF Grade 5
Ability to use Windows based computer systems
Previous experience in a GMP environment would be a plus but not required
