Pay Range: $17.20 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

Essential Job Functions:

• Transfer full racks of product from the blast tunnel to the rack cooler.
• Restack any fallen or dropped baskets of product.
• Operate in a 28°F cooler, maneuvering racks of product weighing between 200 and 600 pounds.
• Count and organize racks by product codes and kill/pack dates.
• Product that is staged has proper codes and dates visible on racks.
• Supply the Weigh & Price lines with racks of product according to customer orders.
• Perform inventory tasks and use a handheld scanner
• Able to use a radio and communicate with (Scheduler, Lead and or Supervisor.) Planner.
• Conduct light computer work as needed.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning of the tunnel during downtime, including ice removal and hot water washing.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours) on a concrete floor.
• Capability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills.
• Willingness to work in a 28°F cooler.
• Availability for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
