Summary:
Salina Subaru is seeking a friendly, organized Service Advisor to greet customers, coordinate vehicle service needs, and ensure an exceptional experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, gather vehicle information, and document service concerns.
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines.
- Provide clear estimates, obtain approvals, and keep customers updated on progress.
- Schedule appointments and manage repair orders accurately.
- Communicate with technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Review completed repairs, finalize paperwork, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, professional work area and uphold Subaru’s high service standards.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Automotive service experience preferred but not required.

Job Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Three or more years sales experience in the automotive industry
- Previous work experience working directly with the public, selling or influencing others, establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships, and communicating with persons outside the organization via phone, face-to-face, email and/or social media.
- Attention to detail
- Customer-focused with the ability to communicate directly with customers, explaining vehicle details, recommendations and costs
- Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter data and process information
- Cooperative spirit that requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying good-natured, cooperative attitude; being sensitive to other’s needs and feelings while being understanding and helpful
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
