- Lead and develop a high-performing team of financial and operational leaders supporting Laboratory Services.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for Laboratory Services.
- Provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational performance.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Audit and monitor billing processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely reimbursement.
- Collaborate with Hospital Billing, Outreach Billing, and Managed Care teams to resolve payment issues and optimize revenue cycle performance.
- Partner with Finance Leaders within Atlantic Health to align laboratory financial goals with broader organizational objectives.
- Maintain and optimize the laboratory chargemaster in coordination with relevant departments.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to billing and financial reporting.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to Laboratory leadership on financial matters and business operations
Salary Range: $139,308– $245,193 base salary only; excludes all incentives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in healthcare finance, hospital billing, or laboratory operations is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, with experience managing leaders across multiple functions.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with chargemaster maintenance, managed care contracts, and reimbursement methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and commitment to compliance and financial accuracy.
- High level and advanced Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., MicroSoft Excel expert, ERP systems, data visualization platforms).
