Structural Welders-Shop bei Skillforce

Skillforce is currently hiring Structural Welders for a 3-month project in Grantsville, MD. This opportunity offers $26–$32 per hour, working 50–60 hours per week, with 1st and 2nd shift options available. Per diem is offered for those who qualify!

Structural Welders will complete welds on fabricated parts, ensuring proper alignment and fit-up prior to welding, and performing both visual and X-ray quality welds to meet production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication plans

• Fit, assemble, and prepare structural steel components for welding

• Perform high-quality welds (visual and X-ray tested) on fabricated parts

• Verify dimensions and tolerances to ensure accuracy

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet deadlines and quality expectations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Structural Welder

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings

• Must provide welding hood and welding gloves

• Must pass visual and X-ray weld tests

• Must pass all pre-employment screenings (including drug test and background check)

• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
