Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Manager with a proven track record in the semiconductor industry to lead complex, cross-functional projects in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, overseeing full project lifecycles, and ensuring timely delivery within scope, quality, and budget. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and technical program expertise to align execution with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership
    • Manage end-to-end delivery of capital, technology transfer, and/or product development projects within the semiconductor domain.
    • Oversee project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and execution across engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.
    • Help Lead Project Management  Team Trainings and Development
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership, engineering teams, vendors, and customers.
    • Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Execution & Governance
    • Establish clear project goals, KPIs, and reporting structures.
    • Drive accountability through structured reviews, milestone tracking, and change control processes.
  • Risk & Issue Management
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks in real time.
    • Develop contingency plans and ensure escalation procedures are followed appropriately.
  • Compliance & Standards
    • Ensure adherence to semiconductor industry standards (e.g., ISO, EHS, and cleanroom protocols).
    • Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams to maintain compliance throughout project execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing $20M+ budgets and multi-year project portfolios.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Primavera, or Procore).
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, fab operations, and technology nodes.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
