Mechanic - Central Plant bei Hyatt Regency Phoenix

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic with 3–5 years of experience in central plant operations. This role is responsible for the daily oversight, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building system equipment within the central plant, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain all central plant systems including but not limited to: chillers, boilers, water softeners, pumps, cooling towers, fire pump, and generators
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
• Monitor system performance and respond to alarms or faults
• Maintain accurate logs and records of equipment status and repairs
• Collaborate with engineering team to support hotel operations

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in central plant operations
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies

• Polished communication and documentation skills

   

   

  -AM Shift 6:00AM- 2:30PM

   

  -four 10hr shifts available

   

  -Starting rate of $25/Hr

Physical & Environmental Requirements:
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in environments with elevated noise levels, such as mechanical rooms and active plant operations.
