Role Title: Banking Analytics & ML/ AI Consultant

Summary of the role:

We are looking for an experienced Banking Analytics & ML/AI Consultant with a strong background in analytics within the Banking and Financial Services industry. The role involves leading analytical initiatives, shaping data-driven solutions, and supporting business development through analytical insight and solutioning expertise.

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supporting analytical projects across retail banking functions.
  • Providing strategic insights and solutions across areas such as collections and recoveries analytics, line management, underwriting, marketing campaigns, and risk/regulatory reporting.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements, develop analytical frameworks, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Contributing to business development through proposal creation and client presentations to promote analytical services.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective data and analytics solutions for clients.
  • Ensuring deliverables meet high-quality standards with a strong sense of “solution-ing” and problem-solving.

Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:

  • 6–10 years of experience in analytics within the Banking and Financial Services industry.
  • Proven experience in analytical project delivery, ideally with exposure to consulting or professional services environments.
  • Experience working with service providers such as leading consulting firms serving the financial services sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing presentations and supporting business development or pre-sales activities.
  • Strong understanding of retail banking analytics areas such as collections and recoveries, marketing campaigns, underwriting, and risk/regulatory reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  1. Strong exposure to Banking and Financial services industry especially in analytics.
  2. Experience of working with services provides like E&Y, KPMG, Tiger, Accenture serving banking and financial services industry.
  3. Ideally 6-10 years of experience in undertaking analysis and analytical projects with a strong sense of ‘solution-ing’
  4. The candidate should have some exposure of business development and of creating presentation to support/ sell analytical services.
  5. Good communication and stakeholder management.
  6. Within banking – a wind range of expertise apply where the candidate is expected to know at least few of them from analytics prespective. That includes but not limited to – collection and recoveries analytics, line management, underwriting, marketing campaigns, risk and regulatory models/ reporting. All these pertaining to retail banking.
