Position Summary: In compliance with policies, procedures and regulations, works closely with loan officers and credit analysts in the coordination of loans from application to the preparation of loan documentation and closing. Provides administrative support to the lending function.
Essential Functions:
- Prepares appropriate disclosures and closing documents for all loan types. May work/coordinate documents with outside attorneys.
- Responsible for the collateral and security-perfection process for loan closings.
- Reviews loan files prior to and subsequent to closing. Review process includes, but is not limited to, proper vesting, security descriptions, dates and signatures.
- Prepares loan funding and performs post-closing follow-up which includes but is not limited to completion of checklists and insurance requirements.
- Answers inquiries concerning loan processing and servicing.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Requires at least 3 years’ experience in loan processing/loan document preparation.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred/commensurate experience may be substituted.
- Strong knowledge of TRID/RESPA, Regulation Z (Truth-in-Lending), Flood Disaster Protection Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Housing Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
- Ability to prepare loan documentation, process and close all loan types.
- Strong background in word processing, computerized spreadsheets, and legal requirements of lien perfection and loan compliance
- Excellent proofreading and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Keen attention to detail and sense of accuracy

Visual Acuity Requirements. Close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus, with or without correction, are required to perform activities such as, viewing a computer monitor or written materials and documents; reading; writing; preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; close visual inspection. Some distance vision and color vision may be necessary.
Environmental Conditions. A person is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and only exposed to moderate noise; they may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts or machinery such as a copier/printer.
