Don's is a family-owned business and manufactures over 130 products spanning across its three brands: Don's Salads, Melanie's Medleys and Artisan Deli.
Our Transportation and Warehouse departments are seeking a non-CDL Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join the team at our Schwenksville, PA food manufacturing plant.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position that typically starts at 6:30AM from Monday-Friday (no weekends!) with flexible end times according to production needs. Candidates who are dedicated, consistent, and organized with driving experience and a warehouse background in a manufacturing environment are strongly encouraged to apply.
*Previous experience driving a refrigerated 25ft truck is required.
*Must hold a current Medical Certificate.
Daily Warehouse responsibilities:
This position works in a refrigerated warehouse for the full 8 hour shift, temperature is about 34-36 degrees.
- Pack finished products into boxes.
- Stack products on pallets.
- Move product to inventory locations and rotate stock.
- Run robotic case palletizer.
- Pick customer orders using ERP tablet and maintain accurate documentation
- Identify expiration dates/serial dates of products to be picked.
- Assist in inventory cycle counts.
- Adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines. Must have excellent attention to detail.
Driver responsibilities:
Driver duties would be as needed to cover for scheduled vacations or call outs.
- Deliver customer orders via our 25-ft refrigerated box truck 1-2 days per week or when another driver is off.
- Delivery routes include the Philadelphia, New York City, and Baltimore areas, as well as local stops in Montgomery County.
- Must be able to use a pallet jack
- Must hold a current Medical Certificate
Shift schedule: Monday-Friday (must be flexible with end times due to production scheduling), start time between 12AM-3AM while driving, 6:30AM in the warehouse.

Requirements:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to work in a cold environment of about 35 degrees.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must meet all other qualifications described above.
Must pass an extensive pre-employment criminal background check and a pre-employment drug test.
