The Division includes more than a dozen faculty and Advanced Practice Providers who deliver comprehensive endocrine care across UTMB’s four hospitals – Galveston, League City, Clear Lake, and Angleton Danbury.%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3EFaculty provide the full spectrum of endocrine services, including diabetes management, pituitary and adrenal disorders, metabolic bone disease, and thyroid disease. The Division maintains a strong referral base and works collaboratively across specialties to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3EA major area of focus for the coming years is expanding UTMB’s thyroid program, including the development of a comprehensive thyroid service that combines clinical excellence, multidisciplinary collaboration, and innovative diagnostic approaches.%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/p%3E%3Chr%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3E%3Cstrong%3EPosition Summary%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3EUTMB is seeking a full-time Thyroid Specialist at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice within the Division of Endocrinology. This position emphasizes excellence in thyroid and general endocrine care, active participation in teaching, and engagement in the academic mission of the department. The successful candidate will join a team of faculty dedicated to providing outstanding endocrine care, with opportunities to develop or expand expertise in thyroid disease management, thyroid ultrasound, and fine-needle aspiration, as well as in diabetes and other endocrine conditions.%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3EThe Division supports an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology Fellowship Program that trains four fellow across two years.
