Are you ready to own the charge in building a robust Environmental, Health, and Safety program that drives sustainable growth and operational excellence?

Join us as a Senior EHS Manager to lead safety culture development and innovative strategies at our new manufacturing facility while ensuring compliance with industry standards!


Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the principal-level EHS leader, directly advising site leadership and regional leaders on strategic safety priorities.
  • Develop and implement a forward-looking, multi-year EHS roadmap that anticipates risks, supports safe scaling, and builds organizational readiness for future growth.
  • Lead EHS integration into large-scale facility ramp-ups, expansions, and greenfield projects, ensuring safety outcomes during construction and commissioning.
  • Direct cross-functional teams to ensure “safety by develop” is incorporated into new equipment installations.
  • Build, develop, and encourage a high-performing EHS team, ensuring accountability and technical expertise.
  • Be responsible for the strategy for vendors and external partners to integrate proactive EHS risk management into all contracts and project planning.
  • Establish predictive safety analytics to shift the organization from reactive compliance to proactive risk prevention.
  • Represent EHS in leadership forums and strategic project reviews, ensuring full integration into business decisions.

Do you have what it takes?

  • 10+ years of progressive EHS experience, with at least 5 years in a senior/enterprise-level role leading teams and managing multi-site operations or large-scale facility ramp-ups.
  • Proven experience leading major capital expansion projects or new facility start-ups, embedding EHS from construction through steady-state operations.
  • Demonstrated direct management of large, multi-tiered teams (salaried and hourly), including performance management, compensation decisions, and succession planning.
  • Strong vendor and contractor negotiation experience, with accountability for commercial agreements and contractual deliveries.
  • Excellent communication and leadership presence, with a proven ability to drive cultural transformation across a large, complex workforce.
  • This role demands a leader with a track record in EHS management, particularly in operations and facility start-ups.
  • Advanced education and training in Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field is desired.

Some international travel will be required.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $137,856.00 - $206,784.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
