The Branch Manager oversees daily store operations to achieve or surpass sales and margin goals. This involves promoting sales, delivering excellent customer service, managing inventory levels, and controlling expenses through purchase monitoring. Additionally, the Branch Manager ensures facility and staff adherence to safety and regulatory standards, guiding team members in providing efficient customer service, maintaining good housekeeping, and optimizing overall operational efficiency.
In particular, you will:
Provide professional customer service for all internal and external customers, while supporting all operations of the customer service team.
Support the outside sales team in maintaining existing client relationships and securing new business.
Ensure accurate and timely daily processing of financial transactions, including cash reports, charge tickets, coding, costing, pricing, daily cash summaries, and bank deposits.
Maintain the accuracy of back order, open order, and Purchase Order (PO) expedite reports.
Manage and establish appropriate cylinder and hard goods inventory levels for the branch.
Supervise and conduct training for customer sales associates on product knowledge, company policies, processes, procedures, and safety, guaranteeing all associates can execute essential branch functions.
Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associates.
Act as a liaison between employees and management, offering performance guidance and direction in collaboration with Human Resources and senior management.
Oversee operations of the distribution team.

Are you a MATCH?
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a science, business, or related field. Four years of additional related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the sales and distribution of industrial gases, welding supplies, or similar industrial products.
At least two (2) years of experience in a managerial capacity.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Strong organizational skills and detail-orientation, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to promote a team player attitude and effectively work with a diverse group of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong retail sales and customer service skills.
Knowledge of welding applications and equipment.
