Housed within the Department of Medicine Center for Research on Health Care, CONVERGE is a multidisciplinary, collaborative research center focused on advancing sexual and reproductive health equity through innovative research, policy analysis, and community partnerships. CONVERGE is hiring a Research & Evaluation Manager for its Catalyst research initiative. This new initiative focuses on improving sexual and reproductive health care access in Pennsylvania. This project brings together a multidisciplinary team to address barriers, promote equity, and advance innovative solutions for sexual and reproductive health across the state. Candidates should have completed the requirements for a bachelor's in a behavioral science or related discipline (e.g., psychology, sociology, public health, epidemiology etc) with domain expertise.

The Research & Evaluation Manager will lead a large behavioral and communications research initiative under the guidance of senior investigators, manage multiple research staff, and have administrative duties to support research functions, such as overseeing behavioral lab-related study implementation. Travel for data collection purposes will be required. 

Supports the design and implementation of various research, intervention, and educational development and evaluation projects. Facilitates project communications and implementation activities and monitors projects for quality and accuracy. Coordinates and manages data collections and assessments and leads grant proposal initiatives. Develops research strategies, proposals, and reports.

Requires the ability to visualize a computer screen, to work with computer hardware and software, to communicate verbally and in writing, and to use a phone. The candidate must have strong working knowledge of English.

Position is mostly sedentary work.
