Position Overview:

 

The Proposal Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the development and submission of panel counsel RFPs and strategic multi-practice proposals. This individual ensures consistent, thorough project management and coordination across stakeholders to deliver high-quality, timely responses that align with firm standards and client expectations. This is a hybrid position that would report to one of the following office locations: Atlanta, Cleveland, Orlando or Philadelphia.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Proposal Management & Coordination

  • Serve as the key contact and project manager for panel counsel RFPs and strategic multi-practice pitch situations.
    Coordinate discussions with lead attorneys and relevant BD managers to establish timelines and deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Manage all aspects of the response process, ensuring consistency and completeness.
  • Utilize available department tools and resources.

 

Collaboration & Training

  • Act as a central point of contact for proposal-related inquiries and support.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including attorneys, BD managers and administrative staff.
    • Advocate for effective use of proposal tools and standard processes.

 

 

Reporting & Analysis

  • Deliver reports and insights using proposal data to support business development efforts.
  • Maintain documentation and templates for proposal responses.



Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal marketing experience and a Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven experience managing RFPs and proposals in a professional services or law firm environment.
  • Strong project management, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Familiarity with procurement platforms and proposal development tools.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and brand standards.

The expected annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000-110,000. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to experience level, education/training, and relevant skills.
