We are hiring!Here at Avondale, we are hiring for a friendly and approachable Reception Supervisor to join our fantastic team. You will assist our Reception Manager with the management and development of the reception team to ensure excellent teamwork delivering a continuous high standard of customer care. Reception duties along with office duties will be required. These will include greeting and assisting clients, scheduling and managing appointments, answering emails and dealing with the post, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the practice, safe handling of dispensed medications, banking/cashing up, stock control and team meetings. About the rotaYour normal hours of work are 36.75 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 07:45 and 19:15. Included in this is the requirement to participate in a Saturday rota, working 08:30-12:00.Our ideal candidatePrevious reception supervisory skills in a veterinary environment would be preferred but are not essential. The successful candidate must be a team player who is able to empathise with pet owners in what can be a sensitive time for them. You must have the ability to multitask in a reactive and fast paced environment, you will need to demonstrate strong organisational skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
