As a Senior Advanced Quantitative Research Analyst for Own Brand, you’ll work cross-functionally with the Own Brand (private label) and Merchant organization to design, execute, and analyze quantitative consumer research studies that inform brand, product, and design of our world-class private label product portfolio. You will contribute to project scoping, survey design, statistical analysis and quant-based reporting.

Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Market Research, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, or related field; master's degree a plus
- 5+ years of experience in quantitative research, preferably in a retail, CPG or other consumer-facing industry
- 5+ years of experience using statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS, Python)
- Experience working with a range of stakeholders (strategy, brand, marketing, design creatives, product development, merchant, etc.)
- Regular exposure to or first-hand experience with qualitative research / mixed methodologies
What is the work?
- Designs and executes primary consumer research, including, but not limited to, surveys informing product development, brand development, positioning / assortment / attribute strategy and optimization, pricing sensitivity studies, monadic testing, max diff and conjoint analysis, etc.
- Influences activation meetings to help identify research objectives, goals, methodologies, timelines, and potential implications of findings
- Leads in planning, writing, designing, and programming quantitative research questionnaires; ensures survey functionality, question integrity and data accuracy, with minimal direction
- Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patters in complex data sets, with minimal direction
- Leads analysis and interpretation of trends or patterns in complex structured and unstructured data sets
- Creates and presents research reports that provide a clear, comprehensive, motivating, and actionable data story
- Communicates the research process and results to other analysts and business stakeholders
- Collaborates with Qualitative counterparts on any multi-phased / mixed methodology research initiatives
- Participates in cross-functional strategy meetings, acting as the Voice of the Customer throughout the product development process and influencing customer led decision making
- Will assist or lead qualitative Brand Strategy and Design research initiatives, as needed
What is your background?
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Market Research, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, or related field; master's degree a plus

Do you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Senior Advanced Quantitative Brand Insights Analyst?
- Knowledge of consumer primary research methods, including survey design, experimental design, sampling methodologies and other advanced survey methods
- Experience with Sawtooth Software, Qualtrics, or other survey tools
- Proficiency in MS Office; strong Excel skills
- Strong Data Visualization skills
- Working knowledge of data analytics language and its associated tools such as R, SAS, Python is a plus
- Strong ability to identify problems, gather / interpret data, identify trends, and provide relevant, actionable results
- Ability to analyze and interpret both structured and unstructured data to provide a comprehensive understanding of the information
- Ability to query and organize large data
- Working knowledge of unstructured data analytics techniques
