Job Details:

Pay ranges from $23.20 to $29.40 based on experience plus $2 perfect attendance incentive

Schedule: Monday to 07:00 AM - 03:30PM) and as needed.

Description:

This position is responsible for the general repair on a tractor and trailer. Mud flaps basic wiring and light replacement along with wingnuts, studs, tailgate seals, tarps, and hardware repair of body as needed which could require aluminum welding use of plasma cutter and light fabrication replacing dollies and braces as needed

Tasks:

This position will perform repair to the body of trailer minor light repairs to mud flap and tarp replacement /repair as needed. This position requires a current Driver’s License and must pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment. Must have basic mechanical or maintenance skills. Must be able to weld/fabricate. Must supply your own tools for minimum maintenance. Must have the ability to lift 60 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 30 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors. Must be able to use basic electrical, pneumatic and hand tools. Must have the ability to read and understand policies, procedures, and regulations. Must have the ability to document information. Must have the ability to communicate with others written and verbally. A basic knowledge of trailer air brake and lighting systems. To Maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture, receive training as required & perform various positions as required/assigned.

6B Maintenance Requirements:

Must have a minimum of (6) months of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate and/or student of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months)
