Job Title: Engineering Team Leader – B&P & Packing
Location: Northampton

Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe deployment of engineering activities, complying with Carlsberg SHE, LOTO, and emergency response procedures.
- Lead and develop a high-performing, multi-skilled engineering shift team through coaching, appraisals, and training.
- Oversee accurate SAP CMMS reporting, spare parts management, and continuous improvement of maintenance practices.
- Coordinate and supervise reactive and preventative maintenance, including 3rd-party contractor activity and plant shutdowns.
- Drive shift-level continuous improvement using Lean TPM, RCA, Six Sigma, and machine reliability metrics (MTBF/MTTR).
- Manage performance against KPIs for safety, quality, hygiene, and preventative maintenance delivery.
- Conduct process confirmations, permit reviews, and RAMS assessments to ensure safe and efficient engineering execution.
- Champion team recognition, capability development, and compliance with all legislative and company standards
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Proven experience managing engineering shift maintenance and planning within Brewing, Packaging, or FMCG environments
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements for Packaging and Process equipment maintenance
- Demonstrated commitment to LeanTPM principles and continuous improvement, acting as a role model for best practices
- High-level competencies in leadership, analytical thinking, collaboration, and decision-making under pressure
- Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and empowering teams to drive performance and change
- Qualified to HNC level (or equivalent) in engineering, or with significant relevant experience
- Familiarity with Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental standards and compliance
