Digital systems are automated to allow for surgical staff and multidisciplinary care teams to work efficiently, and devices are needed to navigate processes, increase user convenience, and improve patient safety.

We are currently searching a Senior Project Leader, R&D (f/m/d) based in Munich. 


JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Project Leader supports the Project Manager in the leadership of the project team through the implementation process. There is a high level of interaction and influence with project team to ensure the team keeps the schedule commitments. (S)He follows product development processes and must be developing independence and strong leadership skills to evolve to leading activities and or larger projects. Provides ongoing organizational and tactical support for a project. Coordinates all aspects of project, and engages appropriate peers/functions for follow-up, corrective action and/or solutions. Establishes working relationship and credibility with all team members on a project.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in tracking team deliverables for project completion

  • Structuring, planning, and monitoring development projects at the product level

  • Support project communication by interacting with Project Manager, Project Core Team and extended teams to ensure effective communications and manage expectations

  • Work within the guidelines of the organization's project office model, standard performance metrics, and regulatory guidelines to support, plan, monitor, control, and implement projects

  • Coordinate project documentation

  • Create and maintain project schedules

  • Assist in tracking and communication of project risks

  • Maintain project team SharePoint Site

  • Monitor project budget commitments, including purchasing of supplies and equipment as needed

  • Supporting specialist departments

  • Coordinating complaint investigations

  • Coordinating external development partners

  • Coordinating field observation reviews

UNIQUE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong leadership potential

  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices and Product Development Process requirements

  • Experience with scheduling software

  • Product Development experience, familiarity with Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor level degree or equivalent experience with 1-2 years project management experience, and 2 years of product life cycle experience

  • Advanced presentation and communication skills
