Your integrated dual study program starting on August 1, 2026, consists of the following three components:
Vocational training (IT specialist in application development or system integration (m/f/d)) Dual study program (Business Informatics) Practical experience within the company.
Requirements:
Completed (subject-specific) higher education entrance qualification (Abitur/Fachabitur) or an equivalent school-leaving certificate
Enthusiasm for computer science, digital technologies, and business processes
Initial experience with programming languages or IT systems is an advantage
Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
Good performance in mathematics to handle the logical and technical aspects of computer science
Enjoy working in teams and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-IT specialists
Strong organizational skills to manage both study and training efficiently and stay focused even in stressful phases
High motivation to continuously explore new IT topics and business contexts
Good German and English skills (ability to read and understand technical documentation and academic literature in English)
What to expect in the dual study program:
Varied training: A combination of hands-on vocational training in IT and a university degree (B.Sc.) in Business Informatics
Practical assignments in different departments such as Group IT Services, Development, and Support
Active participation in innovative projects in software development, IT infrastructure, and business processes
Practical application of theory: Direct implementation of what you learn at university in real company projects
Modern working environment: Work with up-to-date IT systems and software tools in a technology-driven setting
Support from experienced teams throughout your studies and training
Individual development: Participation in internal and external training programs to deepen both your IT and business knowledge
The theoretical courses take place on Thursdays and Saturdays at the university – the practical training takes place in our company
The main modules at the university include: Methods of Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics/Law, and Methodological Foundations (Academic Writing, Mathematics)
