Job Description:
Note: These are part-time Faculty positions (up to 6 hours per week) starting January 7, 2026 and ending April 17, 2026.
Note: These positions are located at 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd, London, ON N5Y 5R6.
Fanshawe College is seeking interested and qualified professionals to teach part-time in the Occupational Therapist Assistant & Physiotherapist Assistant (OPA) Programs in the School of Health Sciences.
Duties: Reporting to the Associate Dean, School of Health Sciences, part-time Professors are responsible for teaching courses within the OPA program and developing an effective learning environment for students.
General Qualifications:
Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
Excellent communicator
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
Teaching experience with hybrid delivery preferred
Proven ability to work in a team environment
Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
Specific Qualifications:
A current member in good standing with either the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario or the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
5 years working in acute care, rehabilitation, orthopedic clinic, or community health care setting
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Significant experiences working with OTA/PTAs in clinical settings
Experience in formal teaching positions (i.e. Clinical instructors, teaching assistants, classroom leadership)
Educational Credentials
