COMPENSATION INFORMATION
$77,900.00 - $116,800.00JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose
Provide coaching and guidance to site leaders and associates regarding employment issues in such areas as policy and procedure interpretation and application, dispute resolution, corrective action, leaves of absence, harassment, and terminations. This role includes supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Manager will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s business goals, foster a positive workplace culture, and drive organizational effectiveness. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle multiple HR responsibilities, and a commitment to supporting the overall success of the business.
Responsibilities
- Analyze findings and review trends with senior management and recommend actions to ensure positive organizational changes.
- Review, interpret, administer and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and company policies and procedures.
- Work with site leaders to create and maintain workforce staffing plans. Coordinate recruiting efforts with leadership to ensure that competent, diverse, and skilled workers are hired, and workload levels are appropriate and maintained to minimize turnover.
- Direct resources and activities to support a culture of prevention awareness and accountability across the organization.
Skills
- Ability to manage multiple HR tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in employee records, reports, and HR processes.
- Ability to explain complex policies, provide constructive feedback, and communicate HR programs effectively.
- Proficiency in resolving workplace conflicts and addressing employee grievances with tact and professionalism.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility with employees and management.
- Ability to guide managers in creating performance improvement plans and fostering employee development.
- Experience in managing performance review processes, goal setting, and addressing performance issues.
- Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), payroll software, and other HR technologies.
Certifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Experience
7+ years of experience, of which at least 2 leading a team
