Contract Length/ Days: (220 Days) - .75 FTE (30 hours/week)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Required:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Bilingual/Spanish speaking.
ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire.
Supervision training or management training required.
Valid Colorado driver's license.
Meet current district vehicle insurance qualifications for driving coverage.
Previous experience in school food service.
Completion of required competencies.
Preferred:
Certification by School Nutrition Association.
Knowledge of school nutrition technology platforms, large quantity food preparation, and health department standards of sanitary food practices.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Summary/Objective:
Supports employee onboarding, training coordination, and general operational support, with a special focus on assisting Spanish-speaking employees. This position plays a key role in ensuring effective communication, consistent training delivery, and smooth integration of new and existing staff into departmental operations.
Essential Functions:
Assist with the coordination and delivery of employee onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training programs.
Provide interpretation and translation support for Spanish-speaking employees during training sessions, meetings, and in written materials.
Serve as a liaison between training staff, supervisors, and employees to facilitate clear communication and understanding of expectations, procedures, and policies.
Prepare and organize training materials.
Support the development and maintenance of bilingual resources, manuals, and digital content.
Track employee training completion and assist in maintaining accurate training databases and records.
Provide hands-on operational support as needed, including demonstrating job duties, procedures, and best practices.
Assist with logistics and scheduling for department-wide training events, workshops, and meetings.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications/Competencies:
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Ability to interpret and translate accurately and effectively.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, or similar applications.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
Comfortable presenting information to small and large groups.
Understanding of adult learning principles preferred.
Familiarity with school nutrition operations or K–12 environments.
