We’re currently looking for an Occasional Babysitter in Mesa, AZ 85213
A lovely family in Homestead seeks an occasional babysitter for their soon-to-be 4-month-old for an immediate start. Backup care will be needed on an as-needed basis, typically 1–3 times per month to cover daycare closures and date nights. Daycare closures may fall on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, while date nights will be scheduled on Fridays or Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. While flexibility is appreciated, candidates do not need to be available for every request. Please note that this is an intermittent role with no guaranteed hours. The family will generally provide at least one week’s notice for upcoming needs. The baby enjoys being held, watching the world outside, and spending time on their play mat. There is also a small, friendly dog in the home—no pet care is required beyond letting the dog in and out as needed.

- Tuesday, November 11th, 8am-4pm
- Tuesday, November 25th, 8am-4pm
- Wednesday, November 26th, 8am-12pm
Responsibilities
- Bottle feeding
- Diaper changing
- Engaging with the child in developmentally appropriate activities
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid professional infant care experience
- CPR certified, or willingness to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
- Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
Compensation
This position pays $26 per hour, and the family is looking for occasional backup care monthly, or as needed. This position is long-term/ongoing.
