Position Responsibilities:

• Cleans service corridors, waiting rooms, staircases, and other assigned areas.
• Shows understanding of the proper use and correct dilution of cleaning chemicals. Ensures efficient use of supplies by managing their distribution.
• Exhibits proficiency in maintaining hard surface floors and carpets through dusting, damp mopping, and buffing as required.
• Handles special cleaning duties diligently and completes them promptly, adhering to hospital and departmental standards.
• Gathers waste and soiled linens throughout the hospital and disposes of biomedical waste in accordance with Infection Control policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School or GED preferred.
• Previous cleaning/maintenance work experience preferred.
