REHABILITATION SERVICES ASSOCIATES/SMOKE MONITORS – Decatur Manor Healthcare, Decatur, IL - Full-Time 2nd & 3rd shifts

Decatur Manor, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF), in Decatur, IL, has Immediate Openings for Rehabilitation Services Associates (RSAs) to be Smoke Monitor for our residential consumers. The positions available are Full-Time on 2nd shift (3p-11p or 11p-7a).  MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER!

Rehabilitation Services Associates (RSAs) work in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team, offering recovery and rehabilitation support and services to those who live in the facility who are mentally ill and may have co-occurring substance use issues.

Responsibilities of the Rehabilitation Services Associates (RSA)

• Monitor behaviors and intervene if there are conflicts
• Assess situations and report concerning behaviors or health concerns to Mental Health Professionals and/or nursing
• Keep area clean and organized

Requirements

We Will Consider Candidates Who Have the Following Qualifications:

• MUST BE 21 years of age or older
• High School diploma and some college preferred
• Some medical or behavioral health experience required
• Basic Computer Skills
• Service mindset with compassion, tolerance, and understanding of adults with psychiatric disorders
• Must be deemed eligible to work in healthcare by the IL Dept. of Public Health, pass a criminal background, have excellent work references and may require fingerprinting
