We’re looking for a Data Engineer with solid software engineering skills to join our Digital team in the Space unit.
We’re searching for someone with strong backend development experience in .NET and Python, who’s ready to work on scalable software systems, data pipelines, and geospatial platforms that support our mission to deliver better solutions in the Space sector.
You’ll be part of an exciting journey tackling the challenges and adventures of building digital capabilities for Satellite imagery processing, helping design, build and maintain microservices, APIs, and data processing workflows, integrating technologies, all within a containerized environment.

Job Description:- Design, develop and maintain microservices and data pipelines in .NET and Python;
- Work with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC, Entity Framework, PostgreSQL and Apache Airflow;
- Implement and optimize ETL processes, integrating multiple data sources and APIs;
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team including frontend and backend developers, data experts, QA and Product;
- Work with geospatial technologies like GeoServer, PostGIS and STAC.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar field;
- At least 2 years of professional experience in backend development;
- Strong programming skills in .NET (C#) and Python;
- Experience with microservices architecture, gRPC, and Pub/Sub patterns;
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
- Understanding of SQL databases and ORMs;
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines;
- Experience designing and maintaining ETL/data pipelines with Apache Airflow;
- Accountability, autonomy, and self-learning mindset;
- Critical thinking and structured problem-solving;
- Strong communication and empathy;
- Time management and team collaboration.
Nice to have:
- Experience with geospatial systems;
- Knowledge of Clean Architecture, CQRS, and MediatR;
- Microsoft Azure certification;
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Git, and JIRA.
