We are looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Foreman in Lubbock. The Sheet Metal Foreman will be responsible for fabrication and installation of all sheet metal on various commercial roof systems.
Starting pay: $25 per hour
Responsibilities:
- 5+ years commercial experience sheet metal roofing.
- Must be able to do copper, solder, and operate a auto break
- Experience with standing seam metal roof system, metal wall panel system, plate and ACM metal wall panel systems.
- Experience in single-ply membrane systems.
- Supervisory or management experience is preferred
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, kneeling
- Must be able to climb a ladder 40'
- Must be able to work in the heat and cold
- No fear of heights
- Must work well in a team environment
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience
- Experience with concealed fastener and exposed fastener metal roof systems
- Familiarity with metal soffits and wall panels
- Ability to operate either a manual or automatic metal brake machine
- Proficiency with commercial flat roof metal flashings, including coping, counterflashing, drip edge, continuous cleats, conductor heads, downspouts, gutters, etc.
- Valid US driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Must be able to work at varying heights and during variety of weather conditions
- Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisor and co-workers.

- Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
- Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting not to exceed 50 pounds
