Wieland is hiring a Pressure Vessel Welder. The Pressure Vessel Welder will be responsible for working from shop drawing, procedures or other written, verbal, or electronic instruction, perform a wide variety of operations associated with welded assembly of final product, sub-assemblies and components for products which includes adherence to ASME Code Safety Regulations. This role is located in Delaware, OH and will be fully on-site. 

Starting Pay: $27.23/hr., with compensation adjusted based on experience and qualifications.

1st Shift Schedule: (Monday – Thursday) 6:00am-4:30pm

Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly

Pressure Vessel Welder Responsibilities:

• Following the production orders, prepare parts and weld components into assemblies.
• Execute welds in accordance with company`s procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
• Properly maintain tools and equipment assigned to perform duties.
• Identify and implement safety improvements.

Pressure Vessel Welder Qualifications:

• At least 1 year experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels.
• Experience and certification in welding in accordance to ASME standard – certified with the company for welding of parts under pressure.
• Ability to read and apply WPS, read drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues related to fitting and welding components.
• Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
• Methodical, organized, and precise.
• Proactive in proposing solutions
