POSITION SUMMARYThe University of Providence is seeking a dedicated and experienced Adjunct Nurse Instructor to teach didactic courses in our undergraduate Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program for the Spring semester. This part-time faculty role is responsible for delivering high-quality didactic instruction in assigned nursing courses. This adjunct position is ideal for professionals passionate about nursing education and committed to preparing the next generation of nurses through engaging and evidence-based instruction.RESPONSIBILITIES- Didactic instruction in assigned nursing courses.
- Facilitate student learning by integrating theory with practice and promoting critical thinking.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student attendance, performance, and evaluations.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success and uphold academic standards.
- Ensure compliance with university, state, and clinical site policies and procedures.
- Utilize Moodle to access course materials, submit evaluations, and communicate with students.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their professional development.
- Uphold ethical standards and model professional nursing behavior at all times.
- Participate in orientation, training, and faculty meetings as required.
EDUCATION:- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana or eligibility for licensure.
EXPERIENCE:- Teaching experience in higher education, particularly in prelicensure nursing programs (e.g., RN-BSN, aBSN, or TBSN) preferred.
