Job Summary:
The Supervisor is responsible for the leadership of the teams. They lead their team by setting productivity goals, maintaining, and improving the logical organization systems and creating communication systems within the area to meet the goals. They enforce the quality control standards for each department and inspect the product and packaging before sending on to the next location. They ensure cabinets are built and panel parts are processed in a timely fashion to avoid out of route cabinets loaded on trucks or shortages.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage associates, monitoring work steps for safety, quality and efficiency while ensuring the correct procedures are followed.
- Establish aspire and panel practices and protocols to achieve an efficient work area.
- Set team goals in collaboration with operations management and quality leadership.
- Balance out and move headcount to the needed areas based on changes to the daily demand.
- Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employee’s performance.
- Audit teams for compliance.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure all products are assembled or processed on time.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict.
- Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.
- Great interpersonal skills.
