What are the hours and pay?
1st Shift: 5:55AM-4PM Monday-Thursday, plus overtime as needed

• Base Pay $17 per hour

What is the job?

Responsible and accountable for the spot welding operations of a production work cell.  This includes set up of equipment, fixtures, and the quality of the product.

• Responsible to meet established rates

• Responsible for all tooling and fixture set up

• Responsible for quality of parts, dimensional and visual

• Follow all job set up and run procedures

• Follow all safety procedures: Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Equipment Safety Analysis (ESA) and Area Safety Analysis (ASA)

• Communicate with shift supervisor, tooling engineers and quality engineers

• Be capable of running your own operation - responsible for all reports: parts completion, time sheets, downtime and scrap report

• Interpret written specifications for welding the product

• Maintain housekeeping in your work cell

• Must be able to maintain and repair tooling when needed

• And other duties as assigned

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Manual dexterity required to handle parts required to meet defined rates
• Knowledge of control charts, inspection data, quality standards, and labeling procedures
• Written and oral communication skills

• Repeated lifting, packing of items (3 to 6 lbs.).
• Requires some heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs. of a non-repetitive nature.
• Work with sharp tools and sharp edges on parts.
• Attention to detail in inspection.
• Must work as part of a work team.
• Requires standing, walking and/or moving about for time periods in excess of one (1) hour.
• Requires some sort of repetitive turning and/or lifting motions to be performed.
• Work overtime as needed
• Work with pressure of meeting schedules, personnel issues, changing priorities.
• Basic computer/PC knowledge/skills preferred.
• Work with all levels of employees.
• Perform position requirements while wearing eye, foot and/or other protective devices as required.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn including but not limited to: eyes, ear, foot and/or other protective devices as required.
