Total Rewards Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Total Rewards Director

Position Summary:

The Total Rewards Manager will support the strategy, design, and administration of compensation and benefits programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring market competitiveness, internal equity, and compliance across all programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including job evaluations, salary structures, incentive plans, health & welfare benefits, pension and 401(k) plans, and leave & disability benefits.
  • Support key annual processes, including compensation planning, benefits renewals, open enrollment, and retirement plan audits.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to maintain competitive pay practices and benefit offerings.
  • Participate in compensation market data surveys. 
  • Educate employees on total rewards programs through training and ongoing communications.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and managers to advise on compensation decisions.
  • Manage complex benefits issues and escalations; act as subject matter expert on all health, welfare, and retirement programs.
    Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in compensation and/or benefits roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with survey participation and benchmarking tools.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • CCP or CBP certification is a plus.
