Average Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm, with mandatory overtime based on business needs. | Location: 40 Walter Jones Blvd, El Paso, TX |
Job Summary:
Lucchese Boots are the highest quality cowboy boots in the industry. Tack insoles play a vital role in the creation of a boot, as it shapes and forms the sole of the best quality boots. In addition, this position will be aligned with Lucchese values, consistent policy administration and a safe work environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
All responsibilities mentioned below can be modified but not limited based on the company’s needs.
- Receives workload from previous workstation or/and supervisor.
- Take one piece of insole and align it with boot last.
- Then place both parts, insole and last under the staple machine.
- Once insole is stapled down, then last is placed back into rack.
- Responsible to learn other working stations as need it.
- Meet required quota per day.
- Revise result of product and pass it to the next working station.
- Responsible to keep working area always clean.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Training: Open to learn and perform cross training in different areas.
- Leadership: Ability to lead by example and obtain support from co-workers and work independently and as part of a team.
- Skills: Strong team player with ability to communicate effectively.
Education, Experience, and/or Certifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Boot making experience preferred.
