JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Handle all duties relative to merchandise receiving and shipment
• Ship and receive internal dealership inventory and packages
• Assist in the maintenance of inventory accuracy and control inventory related records 
• Perform related duties as necessary

Requirements

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

· Unpack, examine incoming products; correspond with shipper to rectify any damages or shortages

· Receive inventory accurately ensuring quantities are correct and invoices balance

· Create purchase orders when necessary

· Keep up with back order log

· Censor and hang product

· Accurate labeling of product

· Staging received product in correct areas for distribution

· Create pallets with product designated for warehouse and bring it up

· Put product in rotation and in correct bin locations

· Create new bins and update bin locations when necessary

· Correspond internally with personnel for packages and distribute as needed 

· Ensure all products are packaged up & labeled properly; ready for pick up in a timely manner

· Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods

· Keep an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times

· Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations

· Maintain Harley-Davidson qualifications by reviewing both new and supplemental training and mastering the skills and information contained within the programs

· Processing warranties according to Harley-Davidson standards and time frame

· Keeping accurate records of all warranty items as well as tracking information

· Shipment of warranty products to correct locations and containing all required paperwork necessary for processing

· Conducts inventory analysis to solve any inventory discrepancies

· Ability to correct any discrepancies

· Coordinate with supervisors for any necessary daily/weekly cycle counts

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

· Prior experience in Shipping and Receiving (preferable but not required) 

· Computer proficiency and above average data entry skills is necessary

· Ability to learn new software and POS systems must be demonstrated

· You must have the following skills: Organizational Skills, Technical Capacity, Initiative, Thoroughness, Time Management and Communication.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· MUST be able to climb stairs, bend, stoop and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
