As an associate engineer for EXD-Design team, you will have the opportunity to learn and work on design, development and release of models and drawings of Hydraulics components used in Excavators. In this engineering position, you will build your technical expertise while learning product development through practical application and staying abreast of innovative technology. You will also build your professional network, engage with peers and receive guidance from mentors.

CORE SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Strong Knowledge of Hydraulics system design

  • Familiar with CREO SDP Fluid Lines Design, SWVL(Simulation Moving Lines Design) and relevant hardware selection.
  • Sound Knowledge on hydraulic schematic reading & optimization ideas.
  • Candidate must have technical expertise to develop new design concepts, proposals and drive decisions.
  • Must be a good team player, provide technical assistance.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Japanese Language communication an added advantage.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant work experience of min. 4 years
  • Must understand various mechanical systems and relations between systems/components and their failure modes.
  • Should have involved in resolving the field failures / part fit up issue etc.
  • Handled few costs saving or quality improvement projects.
  • Technical ability to collaborate across organizational/sub-system team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
