The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all battery products meet company and customer quality standards. This role oversees quality control processes, conducts data analysis, and leads corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous improvement. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, familiarity with quality tools and statistical methods, and the ability to collaborate effectively across production, engineering, and supplier teams.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Perform quality inspections and testing on battery products to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
• Oversee quality control procedures throughout the production process, promptly identifying and resolving nonconformities.
• Prepare, analyze, and present quality reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilize the Seven QC Tools effectively to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Process Capability (Cp, Cpk) studies to ensure process stability and accuracy.
• Perform ongoing quality data analysis, track major quality issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Team Collaboration: Works effectively with production, engineering, and supplier teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Accountability: Takes ownership of quality performance and follows through on improvement actions.
• Adaptability: Responds positively to changes in process, priorities, or production schedules in a fast-paced factory setting.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is primarily based in a factory environment, involving regular interaction with production lines and equipment. The role requires frequent walking, standing, and visual inspection of battery products and processes. Occasional exposure to noise, dust, and manufacturing materials may occur. Strict adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are required at all times. Collaboration with production, engineering, and warehouse teams is a key part of daily work.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move between production areas for extended periods.
• Frequently required to reach, bend, and handle small components or testing tools.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds (≈11 kg) occasionally.
• Good hand–eye coordination and visual acuity for product inspection and data recording.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, gloves, and eye protection, throughout the work shift.
• May occasionally need to work in noisy or temperature-controlled environments typical of battery manufacturing facilities.
POSITION TYPE
This is a full-time position.
TRAVEL
Some travel (30%).
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in electric related major;
• Over 1 years quality engineer experience, solar or battery project preferred;
• Over 1 year energy related work background;
• Working knowledge of the company’s products, competitive products and the market
