Description of function
• Check the work content using test plans, technical drawings, and work instructions (e.g. with regard to function, completeness, etc.), compare target/actual deviations as necessary
• Perform various activities at different work stations as required (jumper)
• Set up and change testing and working equipment; according to guidelines
• Determine and eliminate problems (e.g. tolerance deviations, malfunctions, wrong parts or structure, leakage, etc.), rework per instructions and document defects as required
• Determine part and material availability and report shortages
• Document test/measurement results
• Recognize and report problem areas
• Assemble, process and/or manually manufacture commissioned parts and/or preassembled components and component groups in series production with greater work content, using some difficult tools, auxiliary and assembly equipment and various technologies (e.g. fitting, screwing, stapling, prefixing, glue spraying, etc.), devices and machines (e.g. sewing machine, etc.)
• Eliminate/have eliminated some difficult problems (e.g. process disruptions, etc.) on machinery and equipment
• Perform some difficult tests/measurements on parts (e.g. making yes/no decisions with regard to dimensional accuracy, completeness, etc.) with commonly-used measurement equipment and/or based on documentation
• Sort out defective parts
