Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, maintenance of, performing, and overseeing facility and operations services
  • Responsible for the construction/repair of structures
  • Ensure continuous safety, cleanliness, and presentability of all facilities
  • Coordinate and schedule general contractors to address facility maintenance and repair
  • Conduct and document monthly building inspections
  • Conduct and document emergency drills
  • Encourage safety of all staff and clients by continuously maintaining and inspecting facilities, grounds, equipment, and proper procedure
  • Maintain all groundskeeping equipment and record all monthly inspections and maintenance
  • Assist in upkeep of the grounds as assigned by supervisor
  • Perform weekly/monthly checks of all vehicles and document inspections
  • Perform staff transportation training and document training
  • Ensure that all vehicles maintain adequate fuel levels
  • Coordinate vehicle repairs as needed
  • Mentor and work with approved clients daily in internships and service projects related to role and responsibilities
  • Work with operations department staff on combined projects


Qualifications & Education 

  • Minimum HS diploma (or equivalent)
  • Experience in construction including electrical work.
  • Working knowledge of landscape equipment/tools, including tractor use and maintenance.
  • Basic landscape experience
  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of purchasing, supplies, grounds-keeping, and equipment repair.
  • Understanding of OSHA
