About the Role
You’re a builder of people, of systems, of momentum. You know how to motivate, coach, and hold a team accountable without losing sight of the bigger picture. As a Sales Manager, you’ll play a direct role in Perry Weather’s next stage of growth as we expand into new markets and help organizations minimize the risks of severe weather.
Responsibilities:
- Hire and train high-performing salespeople who embody our values, thrive on autonomy, and know what it takes to hit their number.
- Sharpen our sales process. Work with other sales leaders to continually evolve our sales process and make sure your team knows how to follow it without losing their personality.
- Understand our markets inside and out. Coach your team to be experts on the jobs our customers are trying to get done and how Perry Weather helps them do it better, faster, and safer.
- Maintain a high bar of accountability. Build a culture where ownership runs deep, where every rep thinks like the business owner of their territory.
- Lead from the front. When the deal needs a closer, you’re not afraid to pick up the bat.
- Develop your team. Great managers build great sellers.
- Hit your number. Your success scales through theirs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven sales experience in a Seed, Series A, or Series B company
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with a passion for developing talent
- Analytical mindset with solid business judgment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and speed matters
Nice to Haves
- Experience selling/leading sales in markets such as Parks & Recreation, Golf, Construction, Mining, Manufacturing, and other industries impacted by severe weather
- HubSpot experience
