Job Purpose

The Project Manager of Healing Council: Recovery Support Services for Adults in Treatment Court provides supervision to the four direct-care Treatment Coordinators while managing and leading the day-to-day operations of the grant program. These duties will include networking with treatment teams serving participating judicial treatment court programs as well as gathering and collating data generated by the program and filing reports with SAMHSA and communicating program progress to FCC leadership as required.

 Qualifications 

  • A mental health professional, OR 
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, nursing, or human services field, OR 
  • At least two years of higher education with two years of experience in psychiatric, substance use treatment or developmental disabilities, OR 
  • Four years of equivalent experience with consumers and their families receiving psychiatric, substance use treatment or developmental disabilities services to move towards their personal, social, and vocational competency in order to live successfully in the community, OR 
  • At least a high school diploma or equivalent and applicable training and testing as required by the Department of Mental Health and be supervised by a qualified mental health professional as defined in the Code of State Regulations.                                                                                                 

Core Job Duties 

  • Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the project.
  • Assist with hiring relevant personnel and oversee training and support of project staff.
  • Provide supervision to the project staff on a regularly scheduled basis. 
  • Actively attend and participate in treatment team meetings.
  • Develop the project’s annual plan with input from project staff, as well as assist with the implementation of approved plans and ensure follow-through.
  • Work with project staff to develop and implement outreach strategies and referral pathways.
  • Meet with project staff on a regular basis to specifically discuss any issues associated with treatment related to access, efficiency, effectiveness, and experience; brainstorm and develop plans with project staff to make improvements in these areas as needed. 
  • Provide oversight of the program’s outcomes and work closely with project staff to address issues as necessary; address issues as identified and ensure adequate follow-up. 
  • Gather and report relevant data and create quarterly reports for SAMHSA; review data to identify trends and drive program needs.
  • Ensure the program operates in a safe manner.
  • Thoroughly review and analyze the project’s monthly financial reports and lead discussions to develop and implement plans to improve profitability.
  • Work closely with project staff on a plan to improve the project’s culture and environment as needed. 
  • Actively seek and manage stakeholder feedback to inform practices and business operations.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to the Clinical Manager and provide feedback and recommendations on a regular basis. 
  • Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models. 
  • Orally communicate information effectively and accurately. 
  • Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.                  
  • Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
  • Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
