WHAT YOU GET TO DO

This position oversees training operations in collaboration with the global Customer Service Academy team, ensuring high-quality, site-specific training for Resident Business sites and external customers. Leads a team of trainers, manages training programs and certifications, and coordinates with site leadership to develop and implement customized training plans. Responsible for maintaining training documentation, promoting continuous improvement, and supporting technician development through structured learning initiatives and frequent travel.

Training Leadership & Delivery

  • Supervise Academy trainers and oversee training activities for RBS Operations and external customers.
  • Ensure high-quality, cost-effective training delivery aligned with site-specific needs.

Program Development & Coordination

  • Develop customized training plans in collaboration with site leadership.
  • Schedule and coordinate training courses with customers and internal teams.
  • Create and update training materials, including written content and e-learning modules.
  • Develop interactive educational material and practical training programs
  • Calculate internal and external trainings, incl. planning and offering to the customer.

Trainer & Technician Development

  • Manage onboarding and certification of trainers and technicians.
  • Maintain positive training status for maintenance technicians.
  • Facilitate onboarding and promote continuous education for new hires and existing staff.
  • Perform duties of an Academy Trainer as needed. 

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure training programs meet U.S. and Canadian labor laws, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA).
  • Maintain accurate documentation of training activities and certifications.

Performance Monitoring & Improvement

  • Deliver weekly training progress reports to site leadership.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance training outcomes and reduce costs.

Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with the Global Academy to align training content and standards.
  • Support implementation projects with targeted training during site launches or process changes.
  • Maintain strong internal cooperation with technical departments and Academy HQ.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or control technology or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a mechanical fitter, service technician or commissioning engineer or similar position.
  • 1+ years of experience as a trainer; experience training external customers is a plus.
  • 2+ years experience leading/managing a team.
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal.
  • Excellent ability to analyze errors and problems and develop suitable approaches to problem solving.

Working Conditions and Environment:

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Passport or ability to obtain passport
  • Professional etiquette is required at all times
  •  Travel required up to 50% 
  • Physical requirements may include sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, climbing a ladder, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arm’s length, and lifting up to 50 pounds
