Bi-lingual (Spanish) Parent Educator – Parents as Teachers bei Family Centers

Family Centers is seeking a Parent Educator to deliver the evidence-based Parents as Teachers (PAT) curriculum to parents in the Stamford/Greenwich areas. This position involves conducting regular home visits to support families by providing parenting education, promoting healthy child development, and connecting them with community resources. The Parent Educator will play a key role in building relationships with families, offering case management, and helping ensure children get the best possible start in life.

The ideal candidate will be creative, innovative, and resourceful, with the ability to:

• Maintain collaborative relationships with community service providers

• Manage varied duties and responsibilities effectively

• Maintain accurate records of all client contacts

PAT program training is provided.

Prior experience working with vulnerable children and families from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds is required. A bachelor’s degree in a Social Science or Human Services field—or equivalent and relevant work experience—is required.
