We are seeking a Site Service Supervisor based out of Townsville, to lead our team of fitters.

You will be responsible for managing the field service team carrying out stripping, inspections, repairs and reporting on Weir products in an efficient, effective and safe manner on site for field service jobs and shutdowns as required.

The role also involves estimating, quoting, planning and executing field service jobs and shutdown schedules to meet customer and company deliverables. Also hands-on participation on site as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

  • Lead, train and mentor the team to ensure they work in accordance with site & workshop procedures.

  • Plan jobs/project work including monitoring labour resources, materials planning, job allocation and contractor management.

  • Assist in quoting, estimating of work, cost control, forecasting and liaise with suppliers.

  • Attend customer sites to ensure quality stakeholder engagement and customer satisfaction.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

  • Trade certificate in mechanical fitting

  • Proven experience leading a team including coaching, and providing technical support, disciplinary requirements

  • Ability to plan and organise workloads as required

  • High-risk forklift ticket, dogging / rigging highly desirable

  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety

  • Current manual drivers license required
