Purpose of Role:
Reporting to Senior Manager, Finance the Finance Associate, this is a high-growth opportunity for a motivated professional to join our finance team. The Finance Associate will be a key contributor across a variety of financial functions, playing a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of our financial records and supporting our daily operations. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with a foundational understanding of finance and accounting principles, eager to learn and develop a broad range of skills in a fast-paced environment.
This role will be located at the regional head office in Tucson, Arizona.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Vendor and Contract Management: Assist with the onboarding of new vendors, manage vendor inquiries, and help maintain accurate vendor and contract records.
- Operational Accounting Support: Support daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice reconciliation and payment tracking.
- General Ledger Assistance: Assist in preparing and posting journal entries, and support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Help gather and analyze financial data to support internal reporting and provide insights to leadership.
- Process Improvement: Identify and propose solutions to streamline financial processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP) or a willingness to learn quickly.

The work environment will be nearly exclusively outside and weather conditions such as hot or cold, windy, and very dry to wet conditions. Work will be conducted off established roads and trails on a variety of terrain.
Employee will be expected to drive a company vehicle, rental vehicle and/or his/her own vehicle in the course of performing the job, Employee must be able to perform the physical functions of operating a motor vehicle, including use of eyes, ears, arms, hands, legs, and feet. Employee must be able to prove that he/she has a current and valid driver's license.
