About the Role:
MSS Security is currently seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at the Melbourne Market, located in Epping. This opportunity is for a night shift role.
As a Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of the market, its premises, employees, and visitors. Duties include but are not limited to:
Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the Melbourne Market premises.
Monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control.
Respond to security incidents and emergencies efficiently.
Maintain a visible presence to deter any potential incidents.
Report security breaches, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
Provide assistance to employees, vendors, and visitors when needed.
Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies.
Skills & Experience:
Full Australian Working Rights
Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher)
Valid Victorian Security License (Control Room Endorsement preferred but not essential)
Valid First Aid and CPR
Full Drivers License
Working with Children Check (Or willing to obtain)
Strong Communication Skills
Willingness and ability to work night shifts
Willing to undergo a National Police Check
Master License Number: 409-987-30S
