Key Responsibilities

• Assist on preparing the shipments according to orders and help with loading the outgoing shipments on to the couriers trucks
• Process outgoing shipments utilizing FedEx, UPS, DHL
• Assist on packaging crate shipments utilizing various hand tools
• Processing and scheduling outgoing freight shipments
• Package system skins ensuring that they are protected from damage
• Process orders with in-house ERP System
• Operate forklift to move products and materials
• Process and prepare documents for international shipments
• Perform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationships with shipping companies and clients who are receiving goods
• Follow the safety protocols for workers and equipment
• Maintain the shipping department by cleaning, organizing, and labeling items in storage on a regular basis.
• Transporting excess packaging crates to an offsite storage
• Daily lifting of packages that can weigh up to 60lbs

Requirements

Software Requirements

• FedEx Ship Manager
• UPS Worldship
• DHL
• Infor preferred

Minimum Qualification

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year previous shipping experience preferred
• Previous Forklift experience preferred but will train
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all works processes are accurate
• Ability to work with a team and adjust on the fly

• Basic hand tool skills

• Must be able to work individually or with a team

Physical Requirements

• Sit or stand at a desk for extended periods of a time
• Required to lift and carry parts up to 60lbs
